アメリカから親子でお越しいただきました。

最初に加賀繍の歴史や工程などをお聞きいただき、その後、実際に体験していただきました。

糸の撚り工程から、難しくきれいに刺繍するのが大変だとおっしゃっていましたが、お二人ともとても上手に刺繍されていました。

母国に帰ってからも刺繍を続けたいとのことで、刺繍キットなどをご購入いただきました。

加賀繡の魅力を感じていただけて、とても嬉しく思います。

They visited us from the United States as a parent and child.

They first learned about the history and process of Kaga embroidery, and then enjoyed the hands-on experience.

From twisting the threads to stitching beautifully, they mentioned how challenging it was, but both of them did a wonderful job.

They even purchased embroidery kits so they could continue embroidering after returning to their home country.

We’re so happy that they were able to feel the charm of Kaga embroidery.

We had a guest visit us from New York.

Although of advanced age, they were very energetic and took their time to carefully observe each piece.

They seemed deeply moved by the delicate sparkle of Kaga embroidery and the craftsmanship behind each work, and chose a Kaga embroidery piece as a gift.

We are truly grateful that they came all the way from such a distant country and were able to experience the beauty of Kaga embroidery.

工芸のつなぎ手を開催いたしました。

今回は、10名の方にご参加いただきました。

加賀繡・加賀繡IMAIの歴史や特徴などを聞き終わった後、実際に体験していただきました。「想像していたより難しかったけど、集中して楽しむことができました！」など嬉しいお言葉をいただきました。

We held a “Crafts Connection” workshop.

This time, 10 participants joined us.

After learning about the history and characteristics of Kaga-nui and Kaga-nui IMAI, they enjoyed a hands-on embroidery experience.

Many participants shared their impressions, saying things like,

“It was more difficult than I expected, but I was able to focus and really enjoy it.”

A guest visited us from Osaka to take part in the embroidery experience.

Participants can choose both the fabric and the color of the silk threads themselves.

There are so many combinations to choose from that it can be hard to decide, but she beautifully embroidered a plum blossom.

桜の刺繡に挑戦され、とても丁寧で美しい仕上がりになりました！

実は、加賀繡はかつて男性の職人中心となって受け継がれていました。現代では、女性のイメージが強いかもしれませんが、男性の方にもぜひ触れていただきたい伝統工芸です。

イギリスから滞在型プログラム３日間に来られました。

このプログラムでは、体験だけでは、教わることができない技法や歴史などに触れることができます。

糸撚りからとても難しかったみたいですが、とても上手に刺繡されていました！３日間、長い時間でしたがお疲れさまでした。

想像以上に苦戦することが多いですが、皆さん思い思いの作品になりました！
